I'm a morning person and this morning was no different. As I sat at my desk, the sun was peering through a frost covered window but it managed to mask the cold temperature one would experience if one were outside. The light on the other hand produced an interesting setting. The halogen desk lamp provides ample light but today, the sunlight entering the room made it appear dark.
Bright,dark, warm, and cold...any other day they probably would have canceled each other out. This morning however, it was a cozy place to catch up on some reading while drinking my morning java.

What time do you get up, Hiram? Isn't it more difficult to get up early in the very cold weather. You know, it's interesting how significant weather is to people - very noticeable in the photo blogs. Notice how often people talk about light/dark, sun, etc.
